After a long time of absence, WASTEFALL ARE BACK!
We are more than glad to announce that Domenik returned from Exile and Alex decided to abandon hie Haven.
The only difference is that we decided to recruit Tassos Loukos behind the drums, since Kostis is still in Exile.
Apart from that, the members remain the same.

Official Statement - The END of Wastefall
The band's situation has not been really good the past few months, since Alexander was studying in Crete (island of Greece) far away from Athens. We did renew our contract with Intromental Management this year and after this we would have had the opportunity to play at ProgPower Scandinavia in October 2008. Our drummer Kostis passed the examinations and he will have to leave Greece this summer for a few years, since he will study in a musical university in England, so we found a professional session drummer to help us for this live show. Also Domenik has moved to Germany since 2007 and although he was doing all he could, it was not easy for us to handle our obligations. The band was spread out and it was difficult for all of us to organize our priorities in any way required. We were also in a very difficult economic situation and it was then that Alexander decided to leave Wastefall.
A few words from Alex:
"Due to various complicated reasons and my personal choice to follow my academic studies, I can no longer be a Wastefall member. I want to thank all my band-mates, fans, Claus and Lars from Intromental, Ken at Sensory and Olivier at Replica for all the great times. Concerning music, all I have to say is that I'm going to continue writing music, in a very different style though, and not with the perspective of releasing something soon. It was a great journey I will always remember. I hope that other bands will be influenced by our passion so far and mark their way in the "rotten" music business. Dom, Chris, Nick, Kostis :Love, respect, good luck and apologies. C ya out there."
The beginning and vision of Wastefall was an idea of Alexander and Domenik and since Alexander wasn't available anymore the band's "core" was broken. After this, nothing will be the same so we got the difficult decision and we are really sad to announce the end of Wastefall.
At first we would like to say a big thank and a lot of apologies to Hercules Loukakis for his time, honesty and will to help us out with the "ProgPower live show". We would like to thank our former members, Ken Golden from our record label Sensory and Olivier Garnier from our french record label/promotion Replica, Claus Jensen and Lars Larsen from our Official Management, George Karamanos, Nikos Sigklidis and Vicky Michalitsi (Si-lia) for being our personal local management/advertisers, all our friends, our families for supporting us, local and international magazines, webzines, forums, and finally our FANS in all over the world and all those who did believe in Wastefall's dream and supported us all these years.
The band's website, forum, e-mails and web administration, such as any Wastefall profile all over the internet, for at least some years will be administrated by Christos Kyrkilis in cooperation with any other Wastefall member neeeded.

Wastefall are composing and arranging their 4th album called "NEVMA" ['nevma] (which means make a sign). They have already recorded four songs (pre-production) which are:
"Recycle the Elite", "Hearts in the gutter". "Revolution Jar" and "Nomadia". Those four songs have been recorded because they are currently seeking for major labels, in order to release NEVMA. Already, some proposals are under discussion but the band is still open to serious proposals.

Due to the massive feedback in France, Domenik and Alex are going to visit Paris on the 11nth of January 2007 in order to promote Self-Exile. More that 30 interviews are going to take place along with an appearance on the National Radio of France. On the 13nth they are going to perform an acoustic show at Hard Rock café Paris (14 boulevard Montmartre, 75009) playing 7 songs in acoustic version. For more information check:

OFFICIAL STATEMENT
We unfortunately have to announce that WASTEFALL will not be participating in this years "PROGPOWER USA" festival in Atlanta, USA on September 16th. When applying for the visa to be able to perform in USA, we ran into some unexpected problems with the Greek authorities, which have made it impossible for us to go. We're really sorry about this, as we know a lot of fans had been looking forward to seeing us in USA for the first time ever, and we ourselves had been looking very much forward to the whole experience of our first gig outside of Greece. We would like to extend our gratitude to both our label and management for doing what was possible in order to help us solve the problems, and especially we would like to thank Glenn Harveston of ProgPower USA for helping us beyond the call of duty on trying to make ends meet. We really hope to be able to go to ProgPower USA another year and make up for this.

Opening a gig for Black Sabbath is almost unreal. No words, no feelings. There’s only music. First of all, Wastefall thank Didi music and Big star promotion for putting up a great show that takes courage, passion and professionalism. A big thanks goes to the Black Label Society's road crew for their help and patience. A big thanks goes to Bill Sfakiano, George from Stagnate, Nick, and George Karamano for being an excellent road crew!!! Finally Wastefall want to thank all you people for being out there since 15:30 in the afternoon and despite the heat, you supported us in a way we will always remember! We ’d like to express our sincere apologies towards all our fans as well as all those people turned up to the FATES WARNING show in Thessaloniki in order to see us perform as the headliners opening act evening. The primary reason for the cancellation of our act was due to the FATES WARNING’s late arrival to Thessaloniki. WASTEFALL will be opening for the BLACK SABBATH, VELVET REVOLVER and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY show on the 25th of June in Athens. We are very proud to be sharing the same stage with these great Bands. Much credit to Di-Di Music for their significant contribution into realizing one of the band's greatest dreams. (02/2005)
A miracle did occur on the 21th of November 2004 in Rodon club (21??? that’s an omen!!!) We shared the same stage with Pain of salvation which is one of our most beloved bands. Secondly, you people were amazing!!! The reaction of the audience was fantastic! You gave us strength and will to perform even better!!! Thank you so much for your support and belief!!! We are here to stay and share the music and it’s magic with all of you!!! I hope we see you again on January at Fakanas and Gagarin and on February with Fates Warning (check the live events).
One more thing... We thank you again for making "Soulrain 21" one of the most selling albums this time of year!!! (check Rock-city charts). These "thanks" are not typical. They are just words that we are bound to use to express our gratitude to all of you guys for your belief. The truth is that this feeling can’t be described with this mortal way of communication!

"Soulrain 21" was voted album of the month in Metal Hammer Greece!!! This was a surprise!!! Thank you for believing in us guys... More news have occurred in the Wastefall camp (!?!?). Stratos Haidos (bass guitar) was let go by the band due to personal disagreements and conflicts. Therefore a new member joined the group. His name is Nikos Valentzis and was the former bass player of "Ritual of the Black Sun". Welcome aboard and we hope and wish for the best... (11/2004)
God, it feels like shit when an album is through. Stress, excitement, satisfaction, anger, need for sleep all blended together. How much can we take after all? Anyway, "Soulrain 21" will be released on the 20th of October more or less. A double-CD including two bonus-tracks and the video of "Stunned to the world". About 70 minutes of music and a video directed and edited by ourselves. Whether we created something really good or failed totally. You will judge that! After all, everything is created for you. Thanks for your support so far. We are here to stay... on the run...

Here we are once more... Wastefall have entered Fragile Sound Studios to record their second album. Soulrain 21. That’s the name. Soulrain 21 is going to be released in October 2004. I hope you remember our first album... if not then fine cause Soulrain 21 is like... a new beginning. It is a really ambitious album. Whether we will manage to make a really important album or we will get lost in our vanity of airs and graces... This album is about the youth, for people like you and us... How we see the world and how the world sees us. What are our worries, hopes, dreams, phobias, nightmares... What is that, which keeps us awake at night? Another parameter is oblivion. We live in a world that is forcing us not to think, not to remember and live in ignorance. The famous phrase "live and let live" is turned to "live and let die". We don’t give a fuck! Why is that? Listening to the album could give the answer. Finally, the songs "Soulrain" and "21" are dedicated and inspired (the whole idea of the album actually)

Another member! (shit!) He is Matthew Dakoutros from "art of simplicity". This special guy plays the... violin. Giving the band a more dramatic, theatrical attitude. Hopefully, another wayward son joined the band!!! His name is... Stratos Haidos. He is a great bass player but what is more important is that he is a great guy! Stratos used to play in bands like "Jericho", "Dying Concept", "Lost Prophesy" and "Overthrone" but now he is totally dedicated to Wastefall and shares his vision with them... (11/2003)
Ilias Kalivas (bass guitar) parted ways with the band. Ilias joined the army and also wanted to play jazz in the future... So Wastefall decided to let him ...loose... (11/2003)
Also, new songs have occurred!!! Some titles are: Empty Haven, Stunned To The World, Summerlonging Angels, Live With It. The new songs are more aggressive, more melodic and far more theatrical (dramatic). Quite strange though, combining many different music styles. No labels!!! (10/2003)
Man on board! Christos Kyrkilis joined Wastefall on keyboards. It was then, that Wastefall could perform live and do far too many rehearsals. He is an experienced musician who plays also in other bands like "Incide", "Funkey", "Agnosia". Christos is a talented musician whose honesty and professional attitude is remarkable.
